MACC news
MACC Racers and Race Fans,
This is your President, Drew Hilger. I am writing this from the base of FIS, and I am happy to report the snow guns are on and our race venue keeps getting whiter and whiter. We have a ways to go, to be able to set gates, but I hope to be racing with you very soon.
I am writing this because our primary author is on the injured reserve list after an incident at the Highlands (going Mach 10 with her hair on fire, no doubt). Fortunately, the Queen of the Toledo ski club has a positive attitude that will never be stopped. Godspeed Debi! Our thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.
If you want to contribute to Flowers for Debi, reach out to Diane Clark <dianeclark5243@yahoo.com>.
Here is the latest news:
Green Cards – A sign of returning to normal. Green cards will again be available in the Othmar and will be required for all work assignments. The only exception to this is Directors and Gate Judges. Gate Judges can submit their gate judge card as evidence of their work assignment.
Awards – Another sign of returning to normal is the reopening of the Snowflake. Our awards will return to the Snowflake on Saturdays at 5 pm. See you in the Snowflake on January 21st!
Schedule – Our schedule, including course assignments has been posted on our website. We may be adding some Vet and Supervet classes, which are not yet listed, but we need more registrations to come in to make those decisions.
Registration – If you have not registered yet, please do so. We will always accept your registration and we welcome everyone, but we will be finalizing the start sheets shortly. So, if you register late you may be unseeded and listed as a write in the results sheet.

Cashless – Boyne is now a cashless resort, so bring your credit cards for lift tickets, food, drinks, etc. If you only have cash you can take it to the Mountain Grand Lodge and purchase a Boyne Gift Card.
Cash – Start saving your cash and clearing off your patio. We are planning to have a raffle at the banquet again this year, and Boyne has promised a Chairlift Swing. Tickets will only be sold at the banquet, but the more you buy, the better your odds of winning. Just think, this time next year, you could be falling off the chairlift in your own backyard.
Thank you for being a part of MACC and please keep doing your snow dance.
Drew Hilger
