Hello fellow MACC racers!

Kristen Griffin has requested that I send out an announcement to the masses proclaiming today as Garth Preuthun Day. She is requesting that those of you who know Garth write him today and wish him a Happy Birthday! Garth is 53 today, and, while he has moved out of the MACC geographical area, Kristen wants to make sure that he knows he is not forgotten.

For those of you who need to update your restraining orders against Garth, you may email him at gpreuthun@yahoo.com and find out where he is living. Oh, and you can also send him a Happy Birthday note to the same address.

Now, I wasn't going to toot my own announcement horn, but since I am already sending you a note about Garth, I might as well send out a couple of other announcements.

1) Congrats to Scott Pyles and Paula Anderson who are getting married in May!!!!!!
2) Check out www.pvalpine.com for info on great summer ski racing camps held at Mt. Hood.
3) Congrats to Joel Kato who turned 40 on April 11th and got engaged to ME!!!! I think I got the best present of all that day! No, no date is set, but it won't interrupt the ski season, trust us!
